EMIC in Bremen

The EMIC located in the City of Bremen is called the "Regionale Projektleitstelle der Modellregion Elektromobilität Bremen/Oldenburg" (Regional Project Coordinating Office of the Model region for Electric Mobility Bremen/Oldenburg) and takes over the function of the EMIC in Bremen. This coordination office acts as an information centre for the whole Metropolregion Bremen/Oldenburg. Together with the "Personal mobility centre NordWest eG", they support local actors from the private and public sector to get national funding for R&D projects as well as to initialize projects enhancing the use of EVS. Moreover they offer a fleet of EVs which can be used by companies as well as by private persons.

Physical

The Regional Project Coordinating office of the Model Region for Electric mobility Bremen/Oldenburg is located in the technology park in Bremen. In this way they are very close to the innovative companies in Bremen as well as to research institutes and the University of Bremen.
At the same time, this office is in front of the museum "Universum" which attracts many visitors from the region who are interested in science and technology. Therefore, the visibility of this office is very high.
