Specialist seminar on "Climate protection and electric mobility" to take place in Hamburg

13. April 2012

Electric mobility is regarded as the emission free drive technology with promising future. The German government wants to transform Germany to a lead market in electric mobility and has funded eight model regions within the country, one of them the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, to test this technology. By adding a transnational perspective, the E-Mobility NSR project contributes to this overarching objective and fosters through its various activities the integration of technology across borders. In this context, on 16 May 2012, the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences is organizing the 1-day specialist seminar „Climate protection and electric mobility / Klimaschutz und Elektromobilität: Herausforderungen, Handlungsbedarf und innovative Ansätze“ in Hamburg. Experts from policy-making, business and science present latest developments of e-mobility.

  • Key words: lead market of electric mobility, model regions, battery technology, current initiatives, interdisciplinary discussion

  • The seminar is held in German language.
