Presentation of final project results in Hamburg
08. September 2014On September 1, 2014, lead partner Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg), with active support of the entire consortium, held a last event in the frame of the project to present the results of three years of joint work. More than 80 representatives from universities, local authorities, companies and NGOs attended the event which was held at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. A key note speech by Martijn van der Steen from the Netherlands School of Public Administration on the future of electric mobility and a reflection on policy development provided the larger frame in which the topics may need to be considered. After a brief reflection of the project coordinator Prof Walter Leal, HAW Hamburg, the partners elaborated what had been achieved what resembles a vast range of e-mobility themes: policies, infrastructure and transnational routing, smart grids, battery innovation, information campaigns that work, and electric freight solutions.
