Hamburg conference on sustainable mobility featuring concepts for the city of tomorrow

February 2015On February 18. 2015, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (http://www.kas.de/wf/en/) in cooperation with the US General Consulate Hamburg is organizing a full-day conference in Hamburg, Germany, on the theme “Stadt in Bewegung: Mobilitätskonzepte in der Stadt der Zukunft” (in English: City in motion: mobility concepts for the city of tomorrow). This conference is part of a public event series on the “Die Stadt der Zukunft. Die Zukunft der Stadt.” (in English: The City of the Future. The Future of the City”) to discuss the challenges and perspectives of cities in the 21st century. A broad variety of views on mobility will be showcased by a set of representatives from US and European cities, international companies, research laboratories, mobility associations and universities and, among them Hamburg University’s E-Mobility NSR project coordinator Franziska Wolf who will elaborate recent experiences and lessons learned from the transnational INTERREG IVB project involving seven European countries bordering the North Sea.
