Academic conference paper by Northumbria NSR E-mobility partners wins first prize at international conference

A recent publication by E-Mobility NSR partner Northumbria University (Eiman ElBanhawy, Ruth Dalton, Emine Mine Thompson and Richard Kotter,) on “A Heuristic Approach for Investigating the Integration of Electric Mobility Charging Infrastructure in Metropolitan Areas: An Agent-based Modeling Simulation” won the (shared) “best paper prize” at the recent 2nd International Symposium on Environment-Friendly Energies and Applications (EFEA 2012). The main theme of this symposium was on renewable and sustainable energy systems, hybrid transportation systems and energy security but also included some related topics, other than those directly related to electrical applications, such as energy policy and security, biofuel, geothermal energy as well as lifelong learning and professional development in renewable energy and much more.
